DaF: NPCs Yiichi + Niliang

My VERY CONFUSING twins for DaF Skype RP. Their genders aren't 100% determined. One or both might be crossdressing, or maybe they're both girls. Who knows.

Personality: Niliang and Yiichi are gender ambiguous, but for all intent and purpose, Niliang uses feminine pronouns and claims to be Yiichi's sister. Niliang is almost always smiling, no matter what sort of venomous and twisted words leak from her lips. She can come off as very clingy and likes to get her hands dirty. Even towards people she intends to kill, Niliang is affectionate and shameless.

She is somewhat yandere for her brother. Niliang often pretends that she needs to hide behind him and calls him "big brother", as if he is the dominate twin, but the reality is that Niliang is in control. When her brother does not follow her cues, Niliang lashes out violently at him. She's very good at getting him to follow her lead without seeming bossy, though. Usually, it seems like Niliang agrees with everything that her brother says.

Personality: Yiichi is about as crazy as his sister, but comes off as more subdued. Like Niliang, the only reason Yiichi is called a boy is because he refers to himself like one. Whether this is true or not is uncertain. He realizes that Niliang is the dominate twin, but still tries to act like the older of the two. He is very protective of Niliang and enjoys playing along with her games. Whenever Niliang wants something, Yiichi will do it for her. It has been this way for as long as they have known each other.

The only exception to this rule is Generica Kavue. His time as her friend softened Yiichi, but during the years without her he began to harden again. He is at the point where Rica is the only friendship he ever wants to pursue. While he is protective of Niliang, Yiichi is only truly yandere for Generica. He will kill anyone who seems to be important to her, wanting her to be as dependent on him as he is becoming on her.

He has a personality disorder, because he has to look and act like his sister when they pretend to be the same person. Yiichi does not view himself as a separate person. He occasionally refers to himself as a girl as a result, making the mystery of his gender even more uncertain. It is Rica who gives Yiichi a reason to feel like a separate person, since only Rica knows about the difference between Yiichi, Shini, and Niliang.

History: Both twins share a common history, mostly because a lot of their history in shrouded in mystery. Even the twins don't know much about their past. At some point, when they were about 8 or 9, they were brought into weapon training by the woman they came to call "Mother". Their "Mother" brought them up to be assassins. They were not sure if they were really related, but were called brother and sister so came to accept that.

Both twins are completely identical. Their natural voices are slightly different, but they are capable of perfectly mimicking the other. Everything down to their little gestures and habits are completely in sync. Both twins are assassins, but they share one life as "Shini Direct" (shir-nii / "12" in Chinese - Japanese). They take turns being Shini Direct and living her everyday life. Shini Direct is a magic student who lives in Arcania, but once lived in Adysia before transferring to a nice magic academy. She's known for street performing and people who know her name know her as a girl who spreads happiness with her magic. There are no holes or flaws in this cover.

As assassins, they are referred to as "The Dozen". This is because Liang likes to leave something in twelves as her trademark, whether it is breaking twelve objects in the target's house or killing them with twelve stab wounds. She has fun thinking up new ways to leave her trademark dozen.


When they were about 11, they assissted in the plot to murder Generica Kavue. Yiichi and Niliang had been trading off and pretending to be a friend to the lonely Ace, who had trouble making good friends. Generica befriended "Shini Direct", but Yiichi let his name slip to her one day and she started using it as a nickname, giving Yiichi his first case of someone other than Niliang knowing him as a separate person from the twins.

Yiichi admittedly grew soft for Rica and really wanted to be her friend, which made Niliang insanely jealous. When his sister ordered he killed Rica to show his loyalty, Yiichi was unable to fire a fatal shot. He left Rica to bleed to death, hoping that would be a decent compromise with his sister.

After the failed killing of Generica Kavue, "Mother" moved the twins to Arcania. Unknown to her, Rica was also living in Arcania. Yiichi located her and became something of a creepy stalker, but never let his sister know.

In recent days, Yiichi has stopped growing his hair long and cut it short. He wears a wig to match his sister, but Niliang doesn't know that. He wants to be Rica's "best friend" again, and will kill anyone who seems to be a threat to replacing him. Niliang is just eager to clean up her brother's mistake and get rid of Rica. The two siblings oppose each other in secret, pretending Rica doesn't exist when they are together. She is the only issue that ever causes them to fight.
